Write to one of your representatives about something that you feel needs to be addressed or changed to makes lives better in your local, national, or global community.
*The IDEAS come from the people. YOU! 1. Have you noticed some going on in your local or national community that worries you? What is the thing about your community that you care about?
Your government may not know!
Your government may not think enough people care about it!
Your government needs to know if they should keep doing something.
Your government needs to know that people want them to stop doing something they are already doing.
2. Determine WHERE and WHO you are sending your letter to.
Who will care to hear about your issue? Is it a local issue? State issue? National issue?
Print your letter, typed. Grab an envelope or make an envelope. Put on a stamp, your return address, and the address of the person in government you are writing to (pink).
